FAQ

Sustainability is important to me as part of running my business and I know it is important to many of you as our planet is our shared home.
I do my best to keep all the packaging with recyclable materials and follow a zero‑waste approach, repurposing packaging from other orders instead of discarding it. Any non‑recyclable materials are used only when absolutely in compliance with this principle.
All items are washed before packing but I suggest you give them a hand wash before their first use to remove any packing debris.

While technically dishwasher and microwave safe, these methods can shorten the lifespan of your ceramics. I recommend handwashing whenever possible, and avoiding microwaves.

Pots without a handle can be too hot to hold as the heat transfers fast through the clay. However, all of these should be tall enough that you have free space at the top and you can hold it close to the rim for transport safely.
I find handle-less cups visually striking and I love making them. I would like to share a piece of advice I picked up in Japan: if it’s too hot to touch it is likely too hot to drink and, therefore, not good for your body. You can find a humorous and more detailed explanation by @potadoir here:

Singles are one‑of‑a‑kind pieces. When I need to refill my creative well, I hold spontaneous pottery sessions with no specific goal—just flowing with the moment. Most often, a few finished pieces stand out to me, and those become the “singles” listed in my shop.
